ERS Fenris: "Unchained."
The ERS Fenris is one of the Star Navy's Star Destroyers.
The Fenris was an active player ship in 2013-2014. It has since been a common sight as an NPC ship, assisting in the war against the Liberators and defending KapStar.
In 2016, it reemerged as a player ship once more at a one-shot hosted by the Odyssey player base, to explore its story as it made its trek into Skelow Space to assist the ERS Odyssey against the Pyramid Menace.
The Fenris assisted with logistical problems during a refugee crisis at Avart Station, at the northern edge of the Machine Sector. There, it learned of the Denomu, an aquatic species and a member race of the Skelow Trade Federation, and discovered that the next sector's name was the Denomu Sector. At the Denomu homeworld, it found that the Pyramid Menace was building a base and a trans-dimensional portal. The Fenris destabilized the base, causing an explosion of trans-dimensional matter, causing a dimensional anomaly. The anomaly caused the Fenris and its crew to become various kinds of candy and chocolate, making the continued fight against the Pyramids difficult (and delicious).
The current captain of the Fenris is Captain Nell Dorian. Its XO is Lieutenant-Commander Hayden Barca, and its third officer is Lt. Skye Tenlis. Its Science section features expert ERSN scientists Kit Jeschon and Darius T'Kal.
